Persons having donated $3000 or more may, with the approval of the LNF Board, indicate their desired goal. In such a way, one can support the school of one's native area, a church, an orphanage, a hospital, a university and so on, and at the same time, reduce one's tax burden. The LNF will contribute 50 percent of the donated amount. Donations may also be given "In Memoriam" - in memory of a beloved person. The donor's name will appear in the LNF Newsletter.
Charitable Trust Annuity is a non-refundable investment for which the donor receives interest during his lifetime. It is possible to donate real estate as well. The LNF, in general, pays a higher interest rate than other similar investment companies. The invested sum may be deducted from federal taxes. Upon the death of the donor, the invested capital becomes the property of the LNF.
Bequests. The LNF is a recognized non-profit organization and is not obligated to pay taxes for bequests. The entire sum left to the LNF will be devoted to your designated goal and, at the same time, will be an eternal memorial to you.
